Weekly Fresh produce boxes:
These abundant, organic and alive boxes consist of only the freshest fruit and vegetables often picked that morning. We support certified growers, those in conversion and farmers beginning to change to sustainable farming practices.
The Beanstalk sources fresh food from all over the Hunter Region. From Salt Ash in Port Stephens to Buttai in the Hunter River Country. Each farm has unique climate and soil conditions which allow for different types of produce to be grown in different regions.

By supporting this service you:
- Decrease fuel consumption

Weekly Groceries:
We also pre-order local and organic chicken eggs and duck eggs, bread and honey.
Bread: Bill's breads were chosen for their:
- WHOLESOMENESS (Organic & Sourdough)
- LOCALITY (Hunter Valley baker in Cardiff)
- DIVERSITY (White, Wholemeal, Rye, Multigrain, Kamut and Spelt)

The stone-ground grains used in the breads are grown in Australia on organic farms and the processing is certified by Biological Farmers of Australia. No commercial yeast, dairy products, artificial preservatives, flavourings or colourings are used in the manufacture of the breads. Fortnightly Groceries:
Each fortnight the Beanstalk community bulk buy from our closest organic and biodynamic Farm Mill- Demeter as well as other suppliers. By buying bulk we reduce packaging, price and transportation. Calendar of pick up and order due dates can be found here.

Seasonal Newsletter:
As the seasons change and evolve so does the Beanstalk. The newsletter keeps people up to date with what's happening in the organisation and in the local community. Hunter Organics Magazine:
The HOGS (Hunter Organic Growers Society) magazines are also available each week. This quarterly magazine offers invaluable advice about garden pests, creating luscious soil and chickens. Check out their fabulous field days, trading of surplus produce, a local seed bank and sustainable living bookshop (info inside the magazine).
